Kevlar cutting shears
Heritage has designed these following models for hard-to-cut material such as Kevlar, Spectra, and Vectran. A special hard industrial chrome plating is used which enhances the high carbon steel surface. Surface hardness of these shears is equal to a Rockwell 72 on the C scale. The hard industrial coating also doubles your rust protection. Detailed edges and serrated blades make these the shears of choice for the composite industry. More detailed catalog pages available.
Bent handle Kevlar shears
feature large extended handle rings for more comfortable and powerful cutting. E2565 includes a coated grip ring.

Spring action shears
reopen shears and reduce fatigue. Left or right hand use. Cushioned handle grips and serrated blades. Locks in a closed position. This one doesn't cut Kevlar mat well, but does cut Kevlar roving or threads. Replacement springs are available for this shear.

Broad blade shears
