Stiff hook and loop backing pads, flexible hook and loop backing pads.

SAFETY WARNING: Make sure the maximum RPM or OPM of the item you choose, is equal to or more than the RPM of the power tool you are using. Also make sure the maximum RPM of the buff you are using is more than both the power tool and backing pad.

3" hook and loop backing pad, stiff

Highest grade of J Hook fabric, durable construction, internal metal threads. Two optional adapters are listed below for this J1444 backing pad. Maximum rating: for J1444 and J1449 is 3,000 RPM, and for J1448 is 6,000 OPM, oscillations per minute.

3" hook and loop backing pad, flexible

Highest grade of J Hook fabric on a flexible edge pad with 5/16"–24 internal metal threads. Also included with this pad are two adapters. One provides a 1/4" shank to fit a drill chuck, and the other provides a 5/16"–24 threaded male spindle for a DA sander. Maximum RPM: 3,000.

Plastic and foam pads are 7" diameter standard plastic backing pads with 1/2" thick foam. Good balance, strong metal threads, and the highest grade of J Hook fabric. 5/8"-11 internal threads on pad listed below. 14 mm also available. Maximum RPM: 3,000.
