Drum and pail heaters

Great 4" (102 mm) coverage area and excellent durability and flexibility. Used for viscosity control, freeze protection, temperature maintenance, or melting of solids, thermal mixing, and heating up drum contents to a required temperature. Moisture and chemical resistant. Grounded heating element meets NEC 427.23. Easy adjustable thermostat control in 2 ranges. CE 73/23/EEC.

Heating element is laminated between 2 layers of 20 mil fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber, with a density of 21.7 oz/yd2 per layer. A dielectric strength of over 2,000 volts. 6 foot power cord. Spring closure that can be expanded 3". 450°F (232°C) maximum exposure temperature on the heating surface.

For metal drums and pails

120 VAC heaters are listed below. 240 VAC are also available. High-watt density. Easily adjustable thermostat control 50–425°F (10–218°C).

Hazardous area drum heaters for metal drums

FM Approved Class I Division 2, Groups A*, B, C, and D. Class II Division 2, Groups F and G. *Only drum heater without NEMA 7 temperature controller. 8" coverage area. Exceptional durability, flexibility, and moisture and chemical resistance. Dual set-point NEMA 7 temperature controller is connected to high temperature limit indicator light. Grounded heating element meets NEC 427.23. Heating element is laminated between 2 layers of 23 mil and 2 layers of 25 mil fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber; nominal density of 26 oz/yd2 per layer. Power density of 2.5 watts/in2. 392°F (200°C) is maximum exposure temperature on heating surface. Both drum heaters listed below are 120 VAC. This and a 30 gal size heater are also available in 240 VAC heaters.
