Wedges
Demolding wedges, mold release wedges, soft flex wedges, hard stiff wedges, medium flex wedges, nylon wedges, two taper wedges, handle wedges, air gun wedges, air injection wedges.
Place the bevel on wedge point at outside of mold radius and guide the wedge downward into mold. Strike wedge with a flat mallet, not a steel hammer.

Soft flexible wedges
Flexible pink wedges are used in new molds or molds with sharply contoured edges. Also used to remove parts from the mold where the fiberglass is thin. Flexible soft red wedges bend to reach deep into corners without scratching or fracturing mold.

Hard stiff wedges
Rigid, stiff white wedges are made from a break resistant plastic for general purpose demolding. High grade plastic for a durable, chip resistant wedge. These standard hard wedges provide all the leverage and strength necessary to loosen parts with a flat mold lip.

Medium flex wedges
Medium flex blue wedges work well on molds with mildly contoured edges. This is a flexible wedge, but stiffer than the pink flexible wedges listed above. The Bodi tan medium-flex wedges bend to reach deep into corners without scratching or fracturing mold.

Nylon high impact wedges
These green nylon wedges remove 5 times more parts per wedge, before the insertion edge degrades, than white wedges. Durable and long lasting.

Heavy-duty double tapered wedges
The J1560 wedge is tapered in 2 planes for large boat hulls. J1562 includes a long handle with a ribbed grip. These last even in your "hammering" mode. Handle and back of wedge form a 90˚ corner so another wedge can be used against this area for piggy-back insertion into deeper molds.

Air injection wedges
Medium flex beveled end wedges ideal for de-molding larger parts such as boat hulls. These wedges are placed in several areas of the mold to maintain pressure in desired areas. Both wedges are drilled and tapped (hole has internal threads) for 1/4" fittings. One includes a blow gun, the other does not.
